This course is designed to cover the human capital challenges that are most pervasive, important, and difficult in organizations. Coverage of the topics in this course will emphasize a systematic and "evidence-based" perspective, designed to facilitate both knowledge and skill acquisition. Topics include strategic and evidence-based approaches to decisions regarding human capital, group and team dynamics, leadership, culture and ethics, organizational change and development, recruiting, selecting and retaining talent, motivating employees, managing performance, and international and cross cultural issues.
